" For You, Lady " Gallery is Opened on the Occasion of the Pinky October Month

Smile of Hope institution for Cancer patients care has opened a photo gallery called "For You, Lady " on Thursday, on the occasion of the Pinky October month for cancer awareness in presentence of a plenty of journalists from different media outlets.

 

Sarah Algherbawy as a representative of Press House welcomed the guests, saying that Press house always seeks to highlight the issues suffered by different groups of the society, such as cancer.

 

In his turn, Khald Lafy, the executive manager of the institution, said, " this gallery which is titled as " For You, Madam" aims at spreading awareness about breast cancer and empowering the roles of women to help them effectively participate inside the society.

 

The gallery included 20 portraits, drew by the artists" "Aya Abdel-Rahman, " Nabila Toman", and "Nedal Laqan", mimicking the suffering of cancer patients of women, the pains they hold due to this disease and the importance of women roles in facing it.

 

The artist Aya Abd-elrahman, who has been healed from the disease, asserted that every single portrait has a lofty message as they are strong means of showing the world the extent of pains. She added that everyone should encourage others to make the early detection in an attempt to save the life of our beloveds , and throw away the pains that are brought by the disease.

 

One of her portraits describes her life while suffering the disease as a very restricted one who seeks medications to practice the daily life activities naturally. She mentioned that the procedures of getting the needed papers for treatment visa take more time than the treatment process itself.
