Gaza, 10/07/2017--- Press House-Palestine concluded on Monday a training course entitled " Producing TV Reports& Short Films by Smartphones", targeted 15 media graduates of both gender.
The five-day-course was led by the trainers Hesham Zaqout and Hazem Abu Hamaid.
The training course covered many subjects including using the smartphones in media coverage, the characteristics of smartphones, montage by smartphones, photography techniques, Producing and directing stages, the characteristics of the good photo, and the equipment used in producing short films and TV reports.
The course also included the mechanism of creating films, ideas and TV reports and how to follow the professional way of photography.
During the course, the trainees were divided into groups, where 4 groups worked on producing TV reports and other four groups for the short films.
The trainers followed up the trainees and gave them comments on the montage, photography, light and voice of their productions. At the end of the course, 4 short films and 4 Tv reports were displayed and discussed deeply among the trainees.
The trainers evaluated the outputs of the course and later selected the best TV and short film with the help of Mr. Hekmat Yousef, member of Press House BAORD.
In his turn, Hekmat Yousef confirmed that the Press House is really proud of the practical productions created by the trainees, ensuring that the staff are following effective M&E plan to guarantee the sustainability of the activities.
He expressed their satisfaction on the films and TV reports produced by the trainees, hoping that they continue the good work after the end of the course.
At the end of the course, the trainees were awarded certificates, where the winner were honored by cash prizes.
Worth noting that this course was implemented within Capacity Building Program of Enhancing Freedom of Expression, the Quality and Independency of Media Project , and an alternative activity of the TV report and short Film categories which were cancelled upon the decision of the jury committees.
