Gaza, 03/12/2017--- NAFC in cooperation with Palthink for Strategic Studies, held a ceremony for the winners of " short mobile films 2017" competition, within the initiative of " Home Develops by Unity", part of " Enhancing the Role of Civil Society Organization in Promoting Palestinian Unity" Project on Monday at the headquarter of the Press House.
Bassam Al-Manasra, Head of NAFC, confirmed that the initiative came in line with the principles of the committee, especially we are under reconciliation conditions and ending up the division.
Manasra added; " we strongly supported this initiative, aiming at protecting the Palestinian family and its rights. We care that the Palestinian reconciliation go forward, and all civil organizations have to take this role over their responsibilities.
In his turn, Omar Abu Shaaban, Head of Board of Palthink, stressed on the necessity of enhancing the role of the civil society in reconciliation, noting that the West Bank and Gaza Strip have to be linked so that the people of the two places feel that they are one nation.
Shaaban added; " we worked on some issues, that contributed to nationalizing the political decision. We also worked also with the civil society in the Gaza Strip and West Bank."
In his turn, the journalist Mohammad Al-Baz, confirmed that the role of Palestinian journalists in meeting the needs of people and their demands.
Al-Baz added; " The work the Palestinian journalists do under the restrictions and violations committed against them is a challenge."
He added; " This competition is a kind of resistance and encountering as well as rejection of political division."
In his turn, Saad Krayem, Head of Jury Committee, congratulated the winners, praising the efforts devoted for enhancing the Palestinian media.
The winners of the best three films are:
First Place: Neama Wadi, the film entitled " By unity, We overcome Challenges"
Second Palce: : Tamer Nejim the film entitled" When you Believe"
The Third Place: Shabaan Adas, the film entitled " Redemption Arrow"
