Press House – Palestine and the French organization Super Novae officially launched the “Voice of Gaza” program on Sunday, 16 November 2025, funded by Frontlines for Peace. The initiative aims to enhance young people’s media skills through mobile journalism.
The three-month “Voice of Gaza” program includes three main components: training in mobile journalism, English media terminology, and communication and media skills.
Hekmat Yousef, Director of Press House, stated that more than 400 applicants applied for the program. A specialized committee was formed to select 94 candidates who met the criteria outlined in the program announcement.
He added that personal interviews were conducted over two consecutive days to choose 20 male and female trainees.
For his part, Dr. Louay Nasr, Director of Super Novae in the Gaza Strip, said that the “Voice of Gaza” program is one of the most significant training initiatives to build upon. He stressed that it represents a rare opportunity to amplify the voice of Palestine—particularly the voice of Gaza—to the world through young journalists.
Nasr expressed his gratitude to Press House for implementing the program with high professionalism and also thanked Frontlines for Peace for funding this important initiative for youth in the Gaza Strip.
