Gaza,14/2/2015--- Press House hosted a conference on Monday for Al-Haj and Al-omra companies owners in the Gaza Strip.
The association noted that 79 companies in the strip is exposed to be closed in case Al-Omra failed for the second consecutive year.
He added that 12000 registered in Al-omra will be deprived of making Al-omra like any other Muslim, indicating that there are only 3 months and half left for Al-Omra.
The companies assured their readiness and they are also done with the contracts with Saudi Arabia to facilitate Al-Omra trips.
He added that all the arrangements for this special season are complete and they are waiting for the time people can make Al-Omra heading to Macca through Rafah crossing.
The head of the association noted that Al-Omra season being late causes a great loss for the companies, which negatively affects the families of these companies and threatens them with closure.
Till now, there is no official announcement about opening Rafah crossing for the people who want to make Al-Omra, asking Mamoud Abbas, the president of Palestine to do something for this issue or even contact Egypt government to let those people make Al-Omra.
The heads of the companies appealed Abdel-Fattah El-sisi, the president of Egypt, to contact any other parties to allow the inhabitant of the southern areas, confirming their trust of the Egytian Security Organizations to secure the road from the crossing to Cairo airport as Al-Haj season was during 2015-2016
