Gaza, 4/11/2015---Through "Face the Press" Program organized by Press House, a skype meeting was conducted at Al-Roots Hotel on Wednesday in presence of a group of journalists, intellectuals and media workers to be informed of the political current affairs, and have their wonders answered.
Khaled Meshaal asserted that the Palestinian nation is facing a real uprising, characterized as challenging. He said, " Despite of the bad situations West Bank people are living, they kept heading the uprising in which Gaza and the international community participate."
He added that leaders are supposed to draw the lines within political and national objectives to make this Intifada successful, where the Israeli objectives of dividing Al-aqusa mosque and building settlements must be stopped.
A stressful strategy also must take place to make Intifada achieve its goals. The head of Hamas said that what is happening in the West Bank is obviously a real Intifada, asking people to keep heading it till Al-Quds could be free.
He expressed his opposition of getting Gaza into a new war, adding " Gaza will never give up resistance ."
He stressed on the importance of the national unity, by which Intifadas objectives could be achieved, saying that his faction is all ready to hold meetings in relevance to the issue.
The head of the political office welcomed the idea of meeting West Bank leaders to solve the political division issue and start working on reconciliation, saying "We are all ready for that."
He explained that a plenty of initiatives have been implemented with Fatah leaders, through which some practical ideas have been presented, adding "No applying process has been officially started yet " He called for working on reconciliation, based on partnership not substitution or transposition, asserting " Hamas is not entitled to take the decision of starting war without taking into consideration others views."
Regarding the issue of commemoration festival for the president Yasser Arafat, he asserted his approval on establishing such festivals in Gaza Strip.
Meshaal discussed with the attendants the latest affairs in Palestine, especially the relations between Hamas and the neighboring states. The discussion door was opened for all participants to ask any questions.
