Gaza, 24/08/2017--- Press House-Palestine organized on Thursday Face the Press Meeting with the Deputy Leader of Fatah, Mr.Mahmoud Al-Aloul in the presence of an elite group of journalists and writers of both gender via a video conference between Gaza and Ramallah.
At the beginning of the meeting led by Dr.Atef Abu Said, Mr.Belal Jadallah, Chairman of Press House, welcomed Mr.Al-Aloul and the attendees, confirming the importance of such a meeting held within miserable situations the Palestinians are passing through.
The two-hour meeting tackled many essential issues including the political division, procedures taken by the PA in Gaza, Peace process, Journalistic freedoms and electronic crimes Law.
The Deputy Leader of Fatah asserted during the meeting that when the Palestinian Authority has taken such procedures, it doesn't mean that they are giving up on the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Rather, these procedures have been taken as a lobby means against Hamas to end up the division.
Al-Aloul added; " we never exclude the Gaza Strip from the Palestinian situation by connecting them to another party, assuring that all Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and West Bank are under the siege."
Meanwhile, he stressed that the Palestinian National Council has to be held as soon as possible in order to update the policies and frameworks. "There is a workshop with the PA and civilian parties for holding the council; we did so much for that, but we need time and efforts to officially make it." According to him
He noted; " There's a plan to visit US soonest, aiming at raising several issues, and delivering a message to the world about the decisions issues and the mechanism of applying them. "It will be also for asking questions in regards with Palestine that they once recognized, and the borders of this country." He added
Al-Aloul clarified; "The American envoys believe and espouse the Israeli claims, then later coming to us to talk about it. The Israeli are dragging the Americans into these secondary issues in order to keep them away from the core issue of the Political solution." He added; " we have a crucial perspective towards this, where we have informed that peace must be created instead of talking about these issues."
Al-Aloul listened to all comments and questions of the attendees, where he answered them all.
