Gaza, 25/02/2015 --- Press House – Palestine organized a meeting with the Swiss journalist “Isabelle Ducret”, the specialist in investigative journalism reporting field, in presence of a group of fresh journalists and media students at the organization’s main office in Gaza.
The Swiss journalist, who is currently working for the Swiss Radio and TV (RTS), talked about her media experience that started 20 years ago, stressing the importance of journalists’ knowledge in all aspects of life.
She talked about written, visual, and audio press, and how journalists should protect sources of information when they make investigations.
The meeting included discussions between the journalist and attendance about media work, how they can use media to convey the Palestinian cause to the west, as well as discussing the main problems Palestinian journalists suffer from in investigations.
The meeting came as a part of “Empowering Freedom of Expression, Democracy, and Independent Media” project’ activities, and on of “Capacity Building of Journalists” program’ activities.
