Gaza/ Press House Palestine organized on Wednesday a meeting between journalists working in the strip and Dr. Ismail Jaber, General Prosecutor in Gaza government, at Adam Hotel.
Mr. Belal Jadallah, head of Press House welcomed the General Prosecutor and thanked him for attending this important meeting which comes as part of "Face the Press" program organized by Press House and funded by FDFA-Switzerland.
Jadallah confirmed at the beginning of the meeting that Press House Seeks through this meeting to support and enhance freedom of expression and to provide access to information to media people in Gaza.
For his parts Dr. Jaber said that media constitutes an important link in any society.
The General prosecutor listened to many complaints and suggestions from journalists in the fields of media and freedom of expression in Gaza strip.
At the end of the meeting, he promised that the government in Gaza will work on empowering freedom of speech and expression in Gaza Strip.
