Under Press House sponsorship, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza implements media initiative on importance of digital media

On Tuesday, June 29, 2021, under Press House sponsorship, Public Relations and Media Unit at Ministry of Health in Gaza implemented media initiative on the topic of "The Importance of Digital Media in Improving the Satisfaction of Beneficiaries from Health Services", as part of “Strengthening Free & Independent Media in Palestine” project activities funded by the Norwegian and the Swiss Governments.

The initiative targeted the staff of Public Relations and Media Unit at Ministry of Health, in order to enhance their skills in the optimal use of digital media and social media platforms. An interactive workshop was held with participation of 30 employees (women and men) who are working at the unit, hospitals and primary care in the Gaza Strip.

Mr. Osama Abu Hassan, Digital Media Specialist, presented the most important points that must be followed to increase the public's interaction with visual and written materials which published on online ministry platforms.

Mr. Abu Hassan mentioned practical steps to increase the reach of posts on social media platforms to a larger number of publics, in addition to urgent need to educate the community on the right way about receiving Corona vaccine.

The workshop included a number of participations from participants, which focused on the basics that should be followed and electronic keys in access to target public by the right way.
