Gaza, 12/01/2017--- Press House-Palestine held on Wednesday a needs assessment meeting with a focus group, aiming at developing to-be-implemented activities of Enhancing Freedom of Expression, the Quality& Independency of Palestinian Media Project throughout 2017, in a way that meets the needs of the target group of journalists.
Sahar Sarsour, Project Coordinator, welcomed the attendees and presented a group of suggested activities for 2017, explaining that the objective of this meeting is to provide journalists with purposefully activities that build their capacities.
During the meeting, the weakness and strength points of the implemented activities of 2016, and the ways of utilizing these points to serve the media graduates and workers were discussed.
A number of the attendees presented a group of recommendations and suggestions to be reconsidered in the coming activities implemented by Press House.
At the end of the meeting, Sarsour thanked the attendees and confirmed that Press House always seeks to enhance freedom of expression and contribute to building a powerful Palestinian media.
