Press House - Palestine held on Monday 26/11/2018 the second meeting to evaluate and assess the beneficiaries needs of the activities done by Press House through “Enhancing Freedom of Expression, Quality and Independency of Palestinian Media” project of 2018.
Samar Al-Malfouh, the project's coordinator, welcomed the audience. And Press House presented the programs and activities that were implemented during 2018. which aimed to build the capabilities of Palestinian journalists and refine their skills and knowledge on human rights issues, media freedoms and specialized journalism arts.
The meeting was divided into two parts; the first part was an extensive discussion on the strengths and weaknesses of the activities carried out during 2018 and ways to improve them. The second part was about the beneficiary group needs of the activities of Press House 2019.
During the meeting, a number of attendees presented several of Press House recommendations and proposals to be taken in consideration during the implementation of activities in the next phase.
At the end of the meeting, the project coordinator thanked the attendees, stressing that Press House always seeks to enhance freedom of opinion and expression and supports human rights.
