Gaza, 22/12/2016--- Press House-Palestine concluded a training course on Thursday entitled " Employing Social Media in Media Campaigns", which targeted 25 journalists of both gender.
Sultan Nasser, the Officer of Social Media Café, led the three-day training course, which was in a total of 15 training hours.
The course included many subjects such as social media networks, the difference between the traditional media and the social media, advantages and disadvantages of social media and the difference between face-book and Twitter.
The course also included the methodology of using face-book and Twitter and how to employ them in advocacy and lobby campaigns.
On the third and last days of the course, the participants selected three topics to work on within media campaigns on social media websites, where the campaign of notation and tweeting on the hash tag Palestine_White_and Black#, which has been successfully highlighted on Face-book and Twitter.
At the end of the course, certificates were granted to the trainees.
Worth noting that this course came within Journalist Capacity Building Program and one Enhancing Freedom of Expression, Democracy& Independency of Media" Project's activities which were funded by the Norwegian and Swiss Governments.
