Gaza, 04/12/2016--- Sponsored by Press House, Stamp& currency fans Forum organized an exhibition that includes Palestinian currencies and stamps throughout the various periods of the Palestinian territories.
The exhibition was organized at Press House in Gaza city in the presence of several journalists and fans, where the stamps and currencies were displayed on wooden boards in a good way. Some currencies were materialized as stereo at the mid of the exhibition. Plus, a video was displayed for the audience about the Stamp&Currency Fans Forum.
Belal Jadalllah, chairman of Press House, considered the exhibition as the one of its kind in Palestine as it plays an essential role in shedding the light on the Palestinian heritage and on the existence of Palestinians.
He added that it's not the first time that Press House has received such exhibitions like this; however, it's the first exhibition of currencies and Stamps.
Belal Jadallah expressed his happiness of this work as it enhances the Palestinian culture and pays attention to Palestinian heritage, praising the organizers of this exhibition for that.
In his turn, Mohammad Al-Zard, secretary- general of the forum, said; " We consider this exhibition an important cultural event and a collection of the world ambassadors, since each currency and stamp has a message through engravings and printings. It's a complete history and a clear image of the country."
He added; " This exhibition is a dream of each Palestinian fan, especially when we see the international and Arab exhibition. We wish to have one that carries the name of Palestine in the Palestinian territories."
Al-Zard asserted that organizing such exhibitions like this is accomplishment for Palestinians, because it was organized with humble and simple possibilities.
He pointed out that this exhibition is a message to all countries all around the world that Palestinians are worth living.
Al-Zard thanked Press House for sponsoring and receiving the exhibition, where he also thanked Harmony for advertisement& printing, the ministry of Telecommunication& IT and the members of the forum for their cooperation.
The exhibition included stamps of different counties like Britain, Ireland,France and Palestine. It also included various currencies of Egyptian and Othman periods. Roman& Ayoubi periods currencies were also presented.
In his turn, Reyadh Ouda, the head of general directorate of Telecommunication Ministry congratulated the forum for organizing it, asserting that it presents the cooperation and union of the Palestinian nation.
Ouda pointed that the ministry of telecommunication has issued 32 groups of Palestinian stamps since 2009, which highlight various topics, archeological sites, plants and Palestinian birds, ensuring that the ministry participates in the international occasions for its importance.
He stressed that the Palestinian post can break the siege imposed on the Palestinians through the messages that are sent to say to the world" No.. Big no to the siege imposed on the Palestinians.
