Gaza, 31/08/2016 --- Press House- Palestine concluded two training courses in a total of 32 hours, within Promoting Objective Media In Gaza Project funded by Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Foundation, and the activities of the extension duration which are to finish by the end of November.
The two courses, led by Dr.MAjed Terban, the head of media and journalism department at Al-Aqsa university, targeted 15 media graduates and workers from various areas of the Gaza Strip. The trainees were selected among the 30 beneficiaries of the project before the extension duration.
The first four-day course focused on the methods of activating the Palestinian media to address the international media, where such mechanisms which can be taken to lead a strategic plan to address the international media, were given to the trainees.
Practical exercises were included during the course, where opinions and deputes were exchanged aiming to create an effective media message.
The second four-day course, which is titled" Journalist Editing Art in Promoting Objective Media", included practical tasks that promote the trainees' skills of writing journalistic stories, articles, and news in a very objective and effective way.
These courses are considered the first activity of extension duration, to be moving to the next step which is training in SAWA agency for 3 months starting from September.
