Free Gaza Team concluded a Media Project Sponsored by Press House

Gaza, 8/2/2016 --- Free Gaza Team concluded a project titled " TV preparing and Presenting" on Monday , sponsored by Press House- Palestine at its main place in Gaza.

The project targeted 90 media students of all Gaza Strip universities, and its the fifth project which has started for two years. During a speech for the Ministry of Information, the representative of the ministry said that as a government, they are proud of the project, and always facilitate the work of such youth media teams, aiming at preparing journalistic generation of creativity.

Redwan added the ministry considered 14 teams and youth media groups, facilitating their work and stressing on freedom of expression, as they are ready to help them in their work and form as many media groups as possible.

In his turn, Belal Jadallah, the chairman of the Press House, said that the Palestinian universities prepare 600-700 graduates annually, which is a big number requires from all sides to cooperate in order to receive such graduates. Jadallah asked all media students to keep the professional and objective work, and try to publish all the national issues in full transparency, as well as enhance unity.

The media youth asked everyone to participate in the E-campaign in solidarity with the prisoner Mohammad Al-Qeeq, who is going on hunger strike, and talk about his issue on the social media pages which have become a strong tool to deliver a message.

In his turn, Khalil Atallah, the representative of Education Staff of Al-Azhar university, stressed on the importance of the media projects which contribute to developing the capabilities of media students and enabling them to practice their work on field along with the academic studying.

He said that Al-azhar university worked on developing its students through supporting the youth teams and groups, and organizing many training courses outside the university.

In another context, Sally Al-Turk, the trainer of the media project, called all the graduates to go on enhancing their skills and journalistic capabilities, and focus on the positive sides of their personalities, trying to seize each possible chance.

In his turn, Ahmad Al-Halaby thanked each one who supported the team and helped it in making the project successful including Press House- Palestine, the Ministry of Information, and Al-Azhar university, as well as the trainer Al-Turk for the efforts devoted throughout the project.

Al-Halaby noted that his team launched a website and Al-Horra Agency for news, which will support media students and deliver their messages.
