Gaza, 11/11/2015--- Press House- Palestine opened a photo gallery in the memory of Yasser Arafat in presence leaders of different faction and a big number of people on Wednesday.
The gallery ,which is titled" The Abo-Ammar Photos" shows different photos for Yasser Arafat, taken by Jamal Arory from the West bank, during the siege that he was put in Ramallah through before death, in addition to many photos of humanity.
Belal Jadallah, the chairman of Press House, welcomed the guests, media outlets and the participating factions all by their names. In his opening speech, Jadallah said that this gallery mimics the siege imposed by the Israeli Occupation on Yasser Arafat, and the siege imposed on Gaza Strip before over 8 years from now as well.
He added, " This is a message from all of us to tell the whole world that the occupation will never separate us, its a message to say we are in need for national unity" In his turn, Al-Arory , the Cameraman, said that the photos that have been presented reflects an important part of the leader Yasser Arafat before his death.
He added that they presented an essential part of the Palestinian resistance, which Yasser Arafat considered as a weapon to save the Palestinian issue, pointing out that the photos aim at showing the destruction, demolition and brutality practiced by the occupation against Abu-Ammar at his place in Ramallah as what is happening till now in Gaza.
Arory said, " We missed Yasser Arafat and all the Palestinian martyrs for whom we will go on resisting to get our lost rights and rebuild reconciliation all over again."
He concluded, " I really wish I had been among you to breath the Gazan air which people of West Bank are deprived from.
This is how the occupation makes us used to deprivation, persecution, murder and siege. Al-Arory thanked Press House for opening the gallery and everyone contributed to making it successful. In the end, the attendees strolled over the gallery, watching the photos of the gallery.
