Gaza, 21/9/2015--- Press House- Palestine hosted a ceremony organized by the Democratic Journalism Congregation for honoring the films which got international and Arab rewards.
Hussian Aljamal, the officer of the congregation, said that cinema is one of the most powerful weapon of representing the Palestinian issue to the International world. He added that this humble ceremony was held to honor a group of Palestinian directors who participated in Arab and International festivals after their films had been nominated to be rewarded.
In her return, the journalist Ahlam Eid said that this ceremony is to honor a group of the cinema directors who played a big role in representing the Palestinian issue to the international world and delivering the suffering peoples message.
She added that the Palestinian cinema has a great history despite of the obstacles it is facing, appealing the Palestinian official sides to pay more attention to it.
In his return, the director Faeiq Jarada, said that Gaza is not Tora Bora; it is a place where all creative and distinctive people are, asserting that this thing needs an organization to support anyone who would participate in such Arab and International festivals.
Jarada thanked the Democratic Journalism Congregation for organizing this ceremony and honoring the price-wining films. The ceremony included some songs form the Palestinian Heritage done by the artist Hasan Alostaz.
At the end of the ceremony, the Democratic Journalism Congregation Staff handed the wining-films owners honoring shields.
