Gaza --- 12/8/2015 --- “Deerna” Youth Team organized a trip to visit Gaza strip archaeological sites in the presence of a number of journalists from different media outlets on Wednesday.
The group visited many archaeological sites such as Castle Plum in khan- younes south of Gaza Khader Shrine, Arkish Hill in Deer Albalah the middle of Gaza, and Em Amer Hill in Nusirat besides the old Gaza to get to know the archaeological sites of it.
Asma Nassar, one of the executing team members, said that the objective of this trip is to pay journalists attention to the importance of Gaza archaeological sites and push them to create reports so that they show them to the public in a worthy media way.
Nassar stressed on the importance of preserving the Palestinian cultural and historical heritage adding that the objective of this trip is to empower people awareness about Gaza archaeological sites and identify them to the Palestinian youth, write about them on their news sites and at where they work.
Thus journalists roles of transferring a beautiful picture about Gaza strip could be enhanced.
