Gaza, 27/7/2015 --- Press House – Palestine Organized a special meeting with Ahmad Jadallah ,the director of the office of the international news agency Reuters in the Middle East and North Africa on Monday, in the presence of a group of journalists, media professionals and graduates at Adam hotel; West of Gaza City.
Jadallah reviewed his journalistic experience which started since 1990 till now, asserting the importance for journalists of being educated and informed of all aspects of life. Jadallah spoke extensively about arts of photojournalism especially photography, the formation of press photo, and give some important pieces of advice to the new journalists that they highly need in photojournalism.
Jadallah stressed on the importance of journalists to have the expertise of occupational safety during media coverage in areas of conflict, and not to endanger their life.
The discussion and questions door was opened to journalists; where they asked questions regarding the nature of Jadalla work in different areas of conflict in the Middle East and North Africa, and the main milestones of his media experience that contributed to developing his work.
This meeting comes within the activities of the project: "Enhancing Freedom of Expression , Democracy and Independenency of Palestinian Media", funded by the Swiss and Norwegian Governments ; and one of the activities of "Building Capacity of Palestinian Journalsits" program.
