Gaza, 11/4/2015 --- “Creative Journalist Team” in cooperation with Press House – Palestine organized opening ceremony for a film titled “Beginning from the Womb of Suffering” which included various activities in Press House’ office.
Mohammed Al-Zerr, team leader, said: “The ceremony aims to shed the light on people of Gaza Strip’ suffering and make their voices reach the world after the Israeli aggression.”
The ceremony included various activities, including a theatrical show that embodied the life of people whose houses were damaged, poetry about Gaza, the nation, and the suffering of Palestinian people, in addition to displaying the film “Beginning from the Womb of Suffering” which showed views for damaged houses and the size of pain and destruction Israeli aggression lift behind.
For his turn, Hekmat Youssef, board member of Press House, welcomed the attendance and praised the work of the team that documented the effect of Israeli aggression on the strip.
Youssef also ensured the Press House interest in young journalists and supporting their initiatives.
In a word on behalf of people whose houses were damaged, Mahmoud Nejm said: “What Israeli war lift behind is much more than media showed; demanding media outlets to shed the lights on their continuous suffering.”
He added: “We suffer everyday as a result of the neglect policy practiced by Palestinian leaders; where no real rebuilding taking place.”
