Gaza, 15th of December, 2014 --- Press House – Palestine in cooperation with Atlas Center for Israeli Studies organized a political seminar titled “Judaism of the State – Risks and Implications” in its main office in Gaza.
At the beginning of the meeting, the head of Press House, Belal Jadallah, welcomed the attendance, ensuring the Press House interest to hold similar meetings which enhance freedom of expression and enriching the general knowledge of journalists.
Abd Alrahman Shehab, the head of Atlas Center, talked extensively about the Judaism of the Israeli state since the foundation of Israel and till this moment, where the cause started to float on the surface again in the Israeli Prime Minister “Benjamin Netanyahu” era.
Shehab ensured that the Judaism state means that: "the absence of Jews from this land by the diaspora was an emergency, and that the Arabs were invaders, and the return to the Promised Land is to restore the historic path to its right senses, and that Palestinians will bear the results of this for making the first Nakba and diaspora of Jews.”
Shehab pointed to the implications of this law, where “Palestinians do not have the right to ask for compensation for 1948 Nakba, and an end to calling the implantation of the resolution 194, and the acquittal of Israel from the historical injustice against Palestinians, in addition to considering occupation in all its forms defense for Jewish right.”
At the end of the meeting, the discussion door was opened to the journalists to answer their inquires.
