Gaza, Thurs, 1st of May --- Press House-Palestine announced the launch of their annual journalism award, and th results are at the end of May each year.
Belal Jadallah, the head of Press House, said:"Launching this award, comes as a part of the organization's role in serving the society's issues."
He clarified that the award includes three categories: the best investigative or written press work, the best investigative or Television report, and the best press photo.
Jadallah also pointed out that financial and incorporeal awards will be provided to the winners during a ceremony the Press House will organize at the end of May, and that the three awards will be judged by qualified specialist journalists from different fields.
He added:"The opportunity for submission is open to all Palestinian journalists working in Palestine", noting that the journalists can enter the organization's website to recognize the award's conditions, and the specified dates for submission.
Jadallah pointed out that the submission starts from 1/5/2014 until 15/5/2014, and the materials submitted to the contest must be published in the period from the 1st of January till the 10th of May, 2014. Clarifying that the materials must support freedom of expression, democracy, tolerance, and national unity.
