Gaza/ On Sunday, engineer Ibrahim Zeinel Musa, head of Qatar Charity in Gaza visited Press House-Palestine. He was welcomed by the head of the board, other board members as well as tens of Palestinian journalists.
The board members welcomed Mr. Musa, confirming that his visit expresses his interest in Media and its development.
Engineer Musa discussed with members of the board ways of mutual cooperation for the sake of serving the journalists and upgrading Palestinian media.
Mr. Bilal JAdalla, chairman of the board of directors, briefed engineer Musa about the Press House and the projects under implementation and the planned projects for the interest of the journalists and media workers, as well as media graduates.
Mr. Jadallah, discussed the journalists ‘conditions and the problems and challenges they face, stressing that his organization was very interested in supporting and enhancing the Palestinian media.
Jadallah confirmed the compelling need to support the Palestinian media, especially in the field of availing work opportunities for media graduates. In addition to the strong need for capacity building programs on different media areas to take place in international training centers and organizations.
Jadalla thanked Mr. Musa and Qatar Charity for the outstanding effort for serving the people of Gaza through funding health, relief, and agriculture project as well as infrastructure ones in the value of millions of dollars.
From his side, the head of Qatar Charity expressed his wish to cooperate with the Press house, promising to study carrying out more projects for the interest of journalists in the near future.
Mr. Musa stressed on the interest of his organization to serve the Palestinian society in its entirety to overcome the difficult financial and economic situation. He mentioned the most important projects implemented by his organization in Gaza strip, especially health, education, agriculture and reconstruction projects.
Mr. Musa expressed his admiration of Press House and its projects, hoping it participates in developing the Palestinian media and journalism conduct.
