Press House - Palestine concluded a training course entitled "Digital Safety" on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, targeting 23 male and female journalists in Gaza Strip funded by UNESCO .
The training course was held in Gaza City, and was presented by trainer Sultan Nasser. It lasted for seven consecutive days, with (35) training hours .
The training course reviewed several key topics, including the concepts of digital security and privacy protection, cybercrime, private browsing, secure passwords, and methods of protection through social media platforms .
The training course aimed to enhance the capabilities of male and female journalists to protect themselves and their information in the digital environment, especially in light of the escalating security and technological challenges facing Palestinian media activists .
Prior to the end of the course, participants launched a tweeting and blogging campaign on social media platforms, aiming to spread awareness of digital safety principles and highlight the importance of electronic protection in journalist field , especially in vulnerable environments.








The trainer and participants also recommended merging digital security into media training programs, continuously updating training content to keep pace with technological developments, providing sustainable technical support for journalists, and establishing specialized support networks in digital security.
