Press House holds a dialogue session on "Increasing Numbers of Media & Journalism Graduates…Evaluation & Recommendations"

On Thursday, September 14, 2023, Press House – Palestine held a dialogue session on "Increasing Numbers of Media & Journalism Graduates…Evaluation & Recommendations" in the governorate of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

The meeting was moderated by journalist Hani Al-Shaer with the participation of journalist Sherine Khalifa and Dr. Hatem Al-Assouli, Head of the southern branch at Gaza University, and in the presence of a number of journalists from Khan Yunis.

The percentages and numbers of graduates of journalism and media faculties in the Gaza Strip were reviewed according to the survey conducted by Press House, the obstacles that stand in the labor market and the accumulation of graduates, as well as the needed requirements to provide the necessary means to promote the reality of the media in Palestine.

The meeting included a number of participants who focused on ways to reduce the high percentage and number of graduates of journalism and media faculties, as well as the mechanism for addressing the challenges to contribute to providing job opportunities for them.
