On Monday, July 10, 2023, Press House – Palestine held a tweet session on the protection of journalists during wars, within the legal protection for Palestinian journalists project activities, in partnership with European Endowment for Democracy.
The tweet session was held at Press House in Gaza City with the participation of several social media activists and journalists. They demanded the protection of journalists during wars and armed conflicts as well as the application of the provisions of international humanitarian law, which called for considering journalists as civilians who should not be targeted during any armed conflict, via the hashtag 'Yes_for_Journalists_Protection'.
