Signing a partnership agreement between "Press House" in Palestine and Morocco

Press House - Morocco launched a special welcoming ceremony for the President of the Press House - Palestine, Mr. Belal Jadallah, at the headquarters in Tangiers, Morocco, in the presence of journalists (women & men), writers, decision-makers, and prominent media and cultural personalities from various media platforms in Morocco, this came as a welcome to the guest of Press House - Palestine, as the ceremony was covered by various Moroccan and official media.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, a dialogue meeting was organized at the headquarter of Press House - Morocco, with Mr. Belal Jadallah, in the presence of the Moroccan media elite.

During the meeting, they reviewed the media situation in Palestine, the violations that journalists (women & men) are subjected to by Israeli occupation, also the attempts by social media to restrict content and prevent the spread of the Palestinian case internationally, in addition to the challenges facing journalistic work. The meeting included many important interventions and discussions.

Signing a Partnership Agreement

In the presence of the Moroccan media crowd, a partnership agreement was signed between Press House - Morocco and Press House - Palestine, with the aim of strengthening the bonds of communication and cooperation, exchanging experiences and developing joint work mechanisms in order to perpetuate the values of the profession of journalism and media.

The partnership agreement was signed by the President of Press House - Palestine, Mr. Belal Jadallah, and the Head of Press House - Morocco, Mr. Saeed Kobreit, includes working together to develop joint work mechanisms, updating methods, keeping pace with digital development, and exchange knowledge, this is based on a strategic approach of promoting freedom of opinion and expression and supporting independent media.

The agreement is also keen to cooperate together to raise the level of efficiency, keep pace with the international media renaissance, and adhere to professional ethics.

From his part, Jadallah stated to MAP: "The signing of the partnership agreement is a very important step between two prominent media institutions, and it reflects the pioneering experience of the media sector, and it will be followed with more." He also complimented the warm ties and the distinguished, historical, and humane relationship between Moroccans and Palestinians, which no one can ever change.

Jadallah added that the signing of the agreement is an important moment that will strengthen the relationship between the journalists in both institutions, and it will enable them to exchange experiences and keep pace with the renaissance and rapid media development, based on the distinguished presence and high media experience of both of them.

From his part, Saeed Kobrit highlighted in a similar statement that both institutions today are taking an important step in rapprochement, and the importance of the partnership agreement also lies in the fact that it brings together two journalistic institutions that have accumulated a lot of experience and best practices to support journalistic work and progress in the field of media and journalism, which Morocco considers as an essential sector in the path of development and multidimensional development.

Kubrit stressed that the partnership agreement is an important step in the path of rapprochement and joint cooperation between the two institutions.

According to the partnership agreement between both institutions, joint programs will be organized in various media fields to enhance the capabilities of journalists in the two institutions, engage in activities and programs that aim at enhancing freedom of expression and opinion, and conduct effective activities to develop the performance of journalists, in addition to intensifying meetings of common media issues.

Tour and media coverage

At the end of the ceremony, a tour was conducted inside the headquarters of the Press House - Morocco, in order to see the departments of the institution and the work mechanism. Many press interviews were also held with many Moroccan print, audio, and visual media.
