On Sunday and Monday, June 11-12, 2023, Mr. Mohammed Abu Kmail, an advocate for the issues of people with disabilities, implemented a media initiative on the topic "Protocol of Dealing with People with Disabilities in Media".
The media initiative was held at the YMCA in Gaza City, with the participation of a number of journalists, students, and graduates of media faculties and those interested in the issues of people with disabilities.
The initiative aims to raise the issues of people with disabilities and enhance the awareness of journalists about the importance of addressing these issues through media in a more consistent manner with the best principles of disability rights.
