On Wednesday, June 07, 2023, Press House – Palestine held a legal awareness workshop on "Sensitive Media Coverage of Gender Issues".
The workshop was presented by lawyer Fatima Ashour, in the presence of a number of journalists, students and graduates of media colleges in the Gaza Strip.
Lawyer Ashour reviewed the concepts of gender in media work, and guidelines related to gender sensitivity in journalistic work, especially within written, visual and audio journalistic reports.
The awareness workshop included a number of participations that focused on the proper and positive mechanisms for addressing gender-sensitive issues during media coverage.
