On Tuesday, May 30, 2023, Press House – Palestine, concluded a training course on the topic of "Usage of Smartphones in Media Coverage & Film Making", which targeted 15 trainees from media faculties at universities in the Gaza Strip.
The training course was held in Gaza City, and provided by the trainers Hazem Abo Hmed and Hisham Zaqout, which lasted for 8 days, including (40) inclusive training hours.
The training course covered the mechanisms of using smartphones in media coverage, the equipment used in producing films and television reports, how to store and archive materials properly to avoid damage, and the mechanisms of writing the script and idea, shooting, and professional editing.
Within the context of practical training, the trainees were separated into three groups to produce films and television reports, showing the extent of the benefit of the information they received during the course.
