On Monday, May 22, 2023, Press House – Palestine held a dialogue session on the topic "Reality of Journalistic Work During Wars and Role of Press House".
The session was opened by the Coordinator of the Swiss-Norwegian project, Hanadi Olwan, with the participation of the Coordinator of the Legal Protection Unit of Press House, Lawyer Abdullah Sharshara, and the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Nour Al-Sarraj, in the presence of a group of journalists, in Gaza City.
Sharshara reviewed the efforts of Press House during the recent Israeli Escalation on the Gaza Strip, represented in providing Occupational Safety equipment for journalists, providing legal consultations, monitoring violations, and providing a suitable environment for journalists (women & men) at the headquarters of Press House during the escalation.
The session included a number of participations that focused on the challenges faced by journalists during their media coverage during the escalation on the Gaza Strip.
