Gaza - Press House
On May 17-18, 2022, the evaluation committees of Press House Annual Award for Media Freedom 2022 finished the selection of journalistic stories and journalistic photo nominated to win the award.
The evaluation of journalistic story was supervised by Ms. Rasha Abu Jalal "Writer at Al Monitor American website", Mr. Esa Sa'adallah "Writer at Al Ayam local newspaper" and Mr. Fadi Al Hasani "Editor Head at Akher Story local website".
The evaluation of journalistic photo was supervised by Mr. Noaman Eshteiwi "Director of APA Agency", Mr. Hatem Mousa "Photographer at Associated Press USA", Mohammed Al Baba "Photographer at France-Presse Agency" and Mohammed Jadallah "Photographer at Reuters Agency".
At January 2022, Press House announced its annual media freedom award 2022, at media fields aimed at strengthening the concepts of (freedom of expression, democracy, national unity, societal reconciliation, tolerance, women and youth issues, academic and educational aspects, and humanitarian issues).
Press House annual award for this year included two categories: best written journalistic story (feature) category and best journalistic photo category.
Press House annual award for Media Freedom 2022 will be announced during a ceremony organized by Press House in Gaza during the coming days.
