Gaza - Press House
On Thursday, August 05, 2021, a group of media intellectual held a workshop on the topic of “Writing Skills and Characteristics of Writer” at Press House – Palestine (BAS) in Gaza City.
The workshop was held in the Gaza Strip, with high prevention measures to prevent the outbreak of Covid-19, with the participation of writer Mr. Yosri Al Ghoul, in presence of a number of writers, intellectuals and the public of readers.
The workshop opened by Mr. Walaa Ghaboun, Coordinator at Group of Media Intellectual, stressing out that the group is interested in declamation, literary writing and seeks to publishing it on a large level through continuous sessions in order to strengthen it around the world.
From his part, Mr. Al-Ghoul talked about how to create a special writer, stressing the importance of investment in Palestinian youth for reading in order to develop their abilities and skills, as it can change the community culture and make international and global impact.
Also, he stressed that some narratives able to impact on civilizations through previous years and created a different generation in ideas and directions.
The workshop included a number of participations from participants and recommendations which focused on characteristics of writer and charisma he should have.
The workshop comes within hosted sessions at Press House, as part of “Strengthening Free & Independent Media in Palestine” project activities, funded by the Norwegian and the Swiss Governments.
