Gaza - Press House
On Sunday, June 20, 2021, Press House – Palestine, received a group of children from Media and Communication Club at Rosol Center for talents and Creativity.
With consideration of high prevention measures to prevent the outbreak of COVID 19, a number of 35 children (boys and girls) who interested in the written journalistic, audio-visual media were participated in the visit, which aimed to know more about Press House activities and Sawa News Agency.
Mr. Belal Jadallah, Head of Board at Press House, welcomed and introduced them to Press House activities, projects and programs implemented for serving media Journalists (women and men), students and fresh graduated from media colleges in the Gaza Strip.
From his part, Mr. Mohammed Al Jaish, Lawyer at Legal Protection Unit for Journalists at Press House, reviewed the journalistic and media concepts and the important role for both concepts in general life, in addition to that he explained criteria of publishing photos of children in different social media, especially during armed conflicts.
During the visit, children from Media and Communication Club watched the work progress at Sawa News Agency and news editing process and journalistic reports from an independent and accountable perspective.
