Gaza – Press House
Under the sponsorship of Press House- Palestine (BAS), Mr. Wisam Alqatanani, Journalist, implemented “Together we decide & change” initiative during April 2021, as part of Strengthening Free & Independent Media in Palestine” project activities funded by the Norwegian and the Swiss Governments.
The initiative aimed to raise awareness level of local community and youth to participate in the political life, especially legislative elections.
The initiative included 5 dialogue sessions held via Zoom and attended by civil society institutions’ activists, university students, academicians, media professionals, disability rights’ activists.
The initiative focused on the importance of media in raising awareness level of Youth and their role in the political and civil life in addition to the need of civil society institutions’ effort for raising Youth awareness level and develop their capabilities to enhance their participation in the political life, especially elections.
The sessions focused on the important role of political parties in taking their wishes into considerations away from abhorrent faction.
