Gaza - Press House
With consideration of high prevention measures to prevent the outbreak of COVID19, the evaluation committee of short films has completed its work by selecting the nominated short film by using smartphones for Press House Annual Award for Media Freedom on Tuesday, April 20, 2021.
The short films were evaluated by Mr. Hazem Abu Humeid, lecturer and trainer in the field of usage of smartphones, Mr. Hisham Zaqout, correspondent at Al Jazeera and trainer in usage of smartphones, and Mr. Ahmed Shaqoura, digital content trainer.
Last January, Press House has announced its 2021 annual award for media freedom in media fields focusing on promoting concepts of (freedom of expression, democracy, national unity, community reconciliation, tolerance, women and youth issues, academic and educational side, and humanitarian issues)
For this year, Press House Annual Award included two categories: the best written journalistic story “feature” and the best short film by using smartphones.
