Gaza - Press House
With consideration of high prevention measures to prevent the outbreak of COVID19, the evaluation committee of journalistic story “feature” has completed its work by selecting the nominated story for Press House Annual Award for Media Freedom on Thursday, April 15, 2021.
The journalistic stories “features” were evaluated by Ms. Ala’a Abu Aisha, writer at Ultra Palestine website, Ms. Rasha Abu Jalal, writer at the American website "Al-Monitor," and Mr. Fadi Alhasani, Editing Manager and writer at Nawa.
The nominated journalistic stories “features” for Press House Annual Award were discussed and evaluated through actual attendance of the committee at Press House and via "ZOOM" application.
Last January, Press House has announced its 2021 annual award for media freedom in media fields focusing on promoting concepts of (freedom of expression, democracy, national unity, community reconciliation, tolerance, women and youth issues, academic and educational side, and humanitarian issues)
For this year, Press House Annual Award included two categories: the best written journalistic story “feature” and the best short film by using smartphones.
