Gaza - Press House
On Sunday, April 11, 2021, Press House - Palestine (BAS) held the annual meeting for General Assembly for 2020 at Press House Office in Gaza City with presence of General Assembly members, representative from the Ministry of National Economy and representative of Ernst & Young Company for Accounting and Auditing.
Mr. Belal Jadallah, Head of Press House Board, reviewed the administrative report of 2020 pointing out the activities and events conducted last year.
Mr. Hazem Ellyan, representative of Ernst & Young company, reviewed Press House financial report for 2020.
In presence of Mr. Ayman Al-Khaldy, the director of the Companies Control and Audit Department at the Ministry of Economy in Gaza and Mr. Hamdi Al-Absi, the financial and the administrative reports have been approved, the board members were acquitted in addition to renewing the contract with the financial auditor for 2021.
It’s noteworthy that Press House - Palestine is an independent non-profit media organization which doesn’t have representative or syndicate character, yet it has been licensed by the company registrar at the Ministry of Economy in the Palestinian National Authority since May 2013. The organization deals with issues of media, freedom of opinion and expression, and independent media support.
