On Wednesday, February 28, 2023, Press House – Palestine (BAS) held the annual meeting for General Assembly for 2022 at Press House office in Gaza City, with presence of General Assembly members, representative from the Ministry of National Economy and a representative of Talal Abo Ghazaleh for Auditing and Accounting.
Mr. Belal Jadallah, General Director, reviewed the administrative report of 2022, explaining the activities and events that have been implemented over the past year.
Mr. Ayman Shuhaibar, representative of Talal Abo Ghazaleh & Co. International, reviewed Press House financial report for 2022.
In presence of Mr. Hamdi Al-Abbsi, Director of the Companies Control Department in the Ministry of Economy, and Mr. Mahmoud Al-Ejla from the Corporate Control Department of the Ministry, the financial and the administrative reports have been approved, the board members were acquitted.
It's noteworthy that Press House - Palestine is an independent, non-profit media organization, which doesn't have representative or syndicate character, yet it has been licensed by the company registrar at the Ministry of Economy in the Palestinian National Authority since May 2013. The organization deals with issues of media, freedom of opinion and expression and independent media support.
