Press House concludes "Photojournalism" training course in Comprehensive Journalism Program 2020

On Thursday, July 16, 2020, Press House – Palestine (BAS) concluded the second course of comprehensive journalism training program, targeting 15 trainees were selected as freshly graduates from the Journalism and ‎Media faculties at the Palestinian universities in the Gaza Strip.

The trainer of the course was Mr. Naaman Shtewi, the training lasted for 5 days from July 12 to 16, 2020.

‎The trainer has explained the types of cameras and how to use them and produced a storyboard and processing the image using Photoshop program, and touched on the practical aspect in using photographic cameras and taking pictures and showing them in the right way, as well as the differences between photojournalism and others.

On the fourth day, the trainees participated in field training in photography inside a pottery production factory, and experienced photography in field, as well as covering events and activities.

The comprehensive journalism training program 2020 is an inclusive and continuous one-month training program as part Strengthening Free & Independent Media in Palestine Project activities.

The program includes four inclusive training courses on the following topics: "Journalistic Editing, Photojournalism, TV reports production, Journalistic reporter" with 25 training hours per course, which supposed to be implemented between July and August 2020.
