Press House concludes training course on the topic of “‎Journalistic reporter‎ "within Comprehensive ‎Journalism Program 2020

On Wednesday, July 29, 2020, Press House- Palestine (BAS) concluded the fourth and last course within ‎Comprehensive Journalism Training Program, targeting 15 trainees were selected as journalists and freshly graduates from the ‎Journalism and ‎Media faculties at ‎the Palestinian universities in the Gaza Strip.

The trainer of the course was Mr. Basel Khalf, the training lasted for 5 days from July 25 to 29, ‎‎2020.

‎ The trainer explained the tasks of the Journalistic reporter and his work in the visual, audio and written media and the mechanisms for drafting news reports proposals and identifying the methods of treatment for news topics and human stories.

The course also discussed the techniques used to make interviews and how to stand in front of the camera to the reporter and the tools that the field reporter must possess physical and knowledge.

As part of the outputs course, proposals were completed ready to be photographed as a news report and a human story for each trainee, as well as the work of a stand report in the field.

The comprehensive journalism training program 2020 is an inclusive and continuous one-‎‎month ‎training program as part of Strengthening Free & Independent Media in Palestine ‎Project ‎activities.‎ ‎

The program includes four inclusive training courses on the following topics: "Journalistic ‎Editing, ‎Photojournalism, TV reports production, Journalistic reporter" with 25 training hours per ‎course, which ‎supposed to be implemented between in July 2020.‎
