Gaza - Press House
On Thursday, 18 June 2020, the evaluation committee of journalistic story has completed its work by a selection of nominated journalism stories for Press House Annual Award for Freedom of Media Competition 2020.
The journalistic stories were evaluated by Ms. Ala Abu Aisha, a writer at Ultra Palestine website, Ms. Rasha Abu Jalal, a writer at the American website "Al-Monitor", and Mr. Ihab Al-Jariri, Managing Editor of Radio 24 FM from the West Bank.
The selected journalistic stories for the annual Press House Award between the Gaza Strip and the West Bank were discussed and evaluated via "ZOOM" application in order to have live discussion with Mr. Ihab from the West Bank.
Last March, Press House has announced its 2020 annual media freedom award in media fields which aim to promote concepts (freedom of expression, democracy, national unity, community reconciliation, tolerance, women and youth issues, academic and educational, and humanitarian issues)
This year's Annual Press House Award included two categories: Best Journalistic Story and Best Journalistic Photo.
