The Press House – Palestine Foundation marked the International Human Rights Day, which falls on 10 December 2019, through the implementation of a training day for the enhancement of Human Rights concepts and two Tweeting sessions.
The training, which targeted a group of young journalists from both genders, covered a number of basic concepts related to the International Humanitarian Law.
The Tweeting sessions were also attended by a number of Social Media activists and young journalists on their run through these sessions on Tweeting the Hashtag of the #StandUp4HumanRights, which was launched to mark the International Human Rights Day.
It is noteworthy that the marking of the International Human Rights Day comes within the activities of a project titled " Towards an Independent Media Platform for Capacity building, Awareness, and Involvement of Journalists”, funded by the Norwegian and Swiss governments.
