Press House hosts a Tweeting Session on environmental awareness entitled "Our Environment is Our Home"

On Thursday, 21st Nov.2019, the Youth Committee of Al-Daraj District held in cooperation with the Alumni Association a tweeting session within the activities of " Our Environment is Our Home " campaign, which aims to raise awareness of hygiene in the Gaza Strip, in partnership with Gaza Municipality, Watan Protection Center, the team of Sawasia for Human Rights and Societal Development Looking for funding from the Youth Partnership Forum.

The Press House – Palestine, hosted a number of Tweeter members and members of youth committees participating in the Twitter session, which is part of the initiative “Youth Localities” under the slogan “Our Environment is Our Home” which aims to highlight the reality of cleanliness and protect the environment in places frequented by people as well as the alleys of the city.

The campaign aims to consolidate the concepts of social responsibility by preserving the environment and deepen the sense of belonging to the country by encouraging the spirit of volunteering and directed it towards the environment to practice an environmentally friendly activities.

The Participants tweeted on the Hashtag of  "Our Environment is Our Home", in terms of enhancement of awareness among members of the community in the Gaza Strip on the importance of keeping public places clean and  stopping harming the roads.They also stressed the importance of the role of individuals and groups in participating in providing assistance to the environment.

They also called on civil society organizations to raise awareness among citizens through banners and billboards calling for the preservation of public property. They also discussed the need for governmental institutions to confront any acts of sabotage and respond to citizens' complaints in this regard.
