Gaza, 27/10/2016--- Yabous Association concluded an initiative entitled " Our blessings are for Our Country", on a day of discussion at the headquarter of Press House in Gaza.
Faten Issa, media coordinator for the association, said;" the initiative aims at enhancing the Palestinian products and boycott the Israeli products, strating from May to this October.
She noted that the initiative included many radio series on Alwan and Al-Quds radios as well as Al-Quds Channel, adding that the series discussed the role of youth in promoting the national products and the methods of boycotting the Israeli product.
Issa followed that the initiative included a number of visits to the owners of local companies and factories, encouraging them to support the Palestinian product, so that it could compete the Israelis'. She indicated that there were field visits, aiming at raising the awareness of Palestinians about the importance of supporting the national products.
She added that the initiative included displaying a short film that captures the issue of boycotting the Israeli products and explaining the role of each citizen during the boycott.
Issa explained that the initiative has been implemented by a staff including volunteers in the association, in partnership with Ma'an foe development labor center. Worth noting that this initiative came within the activities of the partnership for development project, funded by Solidarity Foundation of Belguim.
