On Wednesday, 9th.Oct 2019, Under the patronage of Press House - Palestine, the Youth Civilized Forum announced the opening of the Youth Media Forum “Jusur 4“.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Press House Bilal Jadallah, the Chairman of the Preparatory Committee of the Forum Nabil Salem, the Reuters journalist Nidal al-Maghrabi, the Mayor of Gaza Yahya al-Sarraj, and a group of dignitaries, journalists, press professionals and graduates of Gaza's media colleges.
The Youth Forum aims to prepare, rehabilitate and empower young people in the media, political and entrepreneurial work field to contribute at the cultural change and development and promote the freedom of opinion, expression, democracy and independent media.
It also aims to form a message for youth, to learn about the experiences and expertise of others in all fields of media, in addition to forming a link between the Palestinian youth and young media professionals in other countries.
The Press House Chairman Bilal Jadallah, said that the Press House supports a range of youth media initiatives every year, to create space for expressing different perspectives and to provide linkages between different innovations and social issues in an effort to change the stereotype of the society.
