The Benaa Youth Center conducted “Soshilha-Sah” initiative, under the patronage of the Press House - Palestine. The initiative targeted 25 of media and activists from the Abasan region, east of Khan Yunis, southern Gaza.
This initiative comes to improve the quality of community media at the large Abasan town, and to support media independence, with the participation of journalists and activists in the eastern regions of Khan Yunis.
The initiative included several activities, including training for media professionals and activists on how to create media and social content, followed by a photo tour in the large area of Abasan, and a tweeting session on meaningful community content, and then the launch of a photo exhibition on social life in the town taken by the participants of the initiative.
This initiative is part of the” Towards an Independent Media Platform for Capacity building, Awareness, and Involvement of Journalists” Project, funded by the Norwegian and Swiss governments.
