The Literary Noun Salon reviews “Cast Away” Novel

On Sunday, 15 Sept. 2019, the Literary Noun Salon, which is an intellectual literary feminist group”, organized a literary meeting at the headquarter of the Press House -Palestine, with the presence of a number of intellectuals, literary and writers.

The facilitator of the meeting Dr. Mai Naif and the writer Dr. Iman Abu Shaaban, “Cast Away" novel by the Iraqi writer Inaam Kachachi.

The writer Abu Shaaban reviewed the events of the novel represented in three characters, who were considered untouchable by the community, to make their way in search of their dreams until they arrived to France.

She explained that the character inherent in the novel was Mansour Al-Badi, a Palestinian who loved the heroine of the novel, called the "Crown of Kings", who arrived to her in France after the passage of time, where the writer left the novel with an open end to the reader.

The cultural Noun Salon holds a continuous literary sessions per month, which aims to discuss novels, short stories or an artistic work.
