Press House concludes the training of “ Using of Smart Phones in Media Coverage”

On Thursday, 1STof August 2019, the Press House - Palestine, concluded a training course titled "Using of Smart Phones in Media Coverage", which targeted 15 of male and female trainees from universities from media colleges in the Gaza Strip.

The training course lasted for 11 days by the trainers Hazem Abu Hmaid and Hisham Zaqout.

The course presented the mechanisms of using smart phone in the right way through different programs, explaining the methods of media coverage and its features, as well as the process of films and stories production through using the smart phones.

It also dealt with scheduling the shooting dates and clarified the stages of production and direct and explained how to sound recording the reports and choosing the best image characteristics.

The trainers also reviewed the equipment used in film production and how to store and archive the material., in addition to the scriptwriting mechanism of scenarios and television reports.

The two trainers divided the trainees in the practical field training into 4 groups of films, stories and reports production, to show how much information they gained during the course.

At the end of the course, certificates were distributed to the trainees. where three winning films were honored as follows:

1. In the First place: The Stall of Dreams.

2. In the Second center: The Son of the Sea.

3. In the Third place: Living.

This training course of “Using of Smart Phones in Media Coverage” is part of “Towards an Independent Media Platform for Capacity building, Awareness, and Involvement of Journalists” Project, funded by the Norwegian and Swiss governments.
